Since 1922 on 18 May each year, a message is shared from the young people of Wales to the young people of the world.
Last year the message focused on the voice of young people and Urdd worked successfully with 13 partners across sectors to spread the message. As a result, it was shared in 44 languages and 4,000 posters were downloaded, as the message reached 35 countries and 5.2 million individuals across the world.
The next aim is to reach 15 million people in 50 countries across the globe.
The judges felt that the project demonstrated excellent partnership working in networking across countries to communicate young people’s voices.
