Sustainable Farming Scheme: keeping farmers farming
The final Sustainable Farming Scheme consultation has now closed (7 March 2024). A summary of responses is now available with our response to the feedback received.
The Sustainable Farming Scheme will be introduced in 2026 rather than 2025. This was announced by the Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs on 14 May 2024. Written Statement: Future of Farming in Wales (14 May 2024).
