Sustainable Farming Scheme

The final Sustainable Farming Scheme consultation has now closed (7 March 2024). Any consultation responses received after this date may not be included in official analysis. Consultation responses are now being analysed, and further information will be published in due course. 

The Sustainable Farming Scheme will be introduced in 2026 rather than 2025. This was announced by the Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs on 14 May 2024. Written Statement: Future of Farming in Wales (14 May 2024)
