About our staff
The responsibilities of Cafcass Cymru staff are unique across Welsh Government. They offer an opportunity to work in roles that directly support and provide a service to children and families involved in the family court service, often at very difficult times in their lives.
Cafcass Cymru is primarily made up of specialist social work practitioner posts with dedicated support from operational business support staff within area and central teams.
All of our staff who have a direct involvement with family court cases must be qualified, experienced social workers, who want to improve the lives of children in Wales. They must be registered with Social Care Wales.
