Planning Terms: On the Glossaries page, we've published a list of over 300 terms from the Planning (Wales) Act 2026 and the Infrastructure (Wales) Act 2024. The list can be viewed as a web page, and can be downloaded as a PDF or a CSV file.

  • Advice and guidance for those translating general texts. You can search specific words or browse by section.

Subject-specific lists

  • Lists of terms in specific fields, including planning terms, race and ethnicity terms, LGBTQ+ terms, and COVID-19 key terms.

  • Lists of the names of all electoral wards in Wales and the names of all monuments in Cadw's care, as well as information about the List of Standardised Welsh Place-names and the list of English counties by the Welsh Language Commissioner.

  • Lists of the names of states, UK Crown Dependencies and UK Overseas Territories.
