An apprenticeship school, a full-time apprentice trainer and £150,000 investment in machinery to enhance practical training are three of the steps Tonyrefail-based engineering plastics company Ensinger has undertaken to ensure a high-quality workforce.
The current batch of eight apprentices work towards Engineering qualifications at Levels 2 and 3 and are supported by Coleg y Cymoedd, Bridgend College, Newport and District Training Association and TSW Training. Through its promotional material Ensinger ensures that disability, ethnicity or gender are no barrier to entering its programme.
