The increasingly competitive market for skilled employees is one reason why Tata Steel is investing in its Apprenticeship Programme. The company is creating a “pipeline of talent” to ensure it has the skilled workforce it needs. It employs over 6,300 people in Wales, including 211 apprentices and has had an Apprenticeship Programme in place for over 50 years.

Working with Bridgend College, it delivers five frameworks from Foundation Apprenticeship in Metal Processing and Allied Operations to Higher Apprenticeships in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.
