The A489 Trunk Road (Heol Maengwyn, Machynlleth) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2022

The proposed Order is considered necessary to prohibit waiting on the sides of the relevant lengths of the A489 Caersws to Machynlleth trunk road. Works are proposed to be undertaken to reconfigure and refurbish Machynlleth Hospital’s facilities. It is proposed that on completion of these works, two local Health Centres will relocate to the Machynlleth Hospital site. 

The purpose of the proposed Order is to introduce a prohibition on waiting at any time on the sides of the relevant lengths of the A489 Caersws to Machynlleth trunk road to ensure that both sides of the upgraded access to Machynlleth Hospital are kept clear and are not compromised by any parked vehicles.
