I am pleased to announce that the Welsh Government’s third annual report, as required by the Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (Wales) Act 2015 (“the Act”), has been laid in the Assembly.

The report, which covers the period 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019, describes progress made towards achieving the purpose of the Act and the objectives set out in the Act’s accompanying national strategy.

The report lays out the significant progress during 2018-2019, such as the launch of the This is not Love: This is Control campaign, the development of perpetrator standards for Wales and the guidance for Commissioning of VAWDASV Services was has been laid before the Assembly.
