During the procurement of the Wales & Borders rail services contract I made a commitment to publish the documents which formed the basis for the procurement.
Following the award of the contract, I am now pleased to advise members that the process to publicise these documents has begun.
There are two broad sets of information which will be published, firstly the agreements between the Welsh Government and UK Government (Department for Transport) and secondly the procurement information.
Information regarding the intra Governmental agreements will be made available on the Welsh Government’s website and the procurement documents can be found on Transport for Wales’ website.

This statement is being issued during recess in order to keep members informed. Should members wish me to make a further statement or to answer questions on this when the Assembly returns I would be happy to do so.
