Following the Digital Public Service Group in February 2016, I agreed with the Minister for Finance and Government Business of the need to publish the ‘Heat-maps’ produced by the National Procurement Service.
The National Procurement Service produces Contract Utilisation Heat-map Reports – these are high level visual representations that show whether or not an organisation has used an NPS Framework Agreement / contract. The Heat-map grid indicates the organisations and frameworks that have been utilised during a given period, as reported by suppliers.
I have encouraged the publication of the Heat-maps in order to publicise the collaborative agreements by organisations using the NPS frameworks.
The heat-map for the Local Authorities will be published initially and will be available on the NPS website on Thursday 10 March 2016.
