In October 2014, I appointed an Expert Panel to review local museum provision across Wales. The Panel has completed its work and I am pleased to advise you that their report is now available to download from the Museums, Archives and Libraries section of the Welsh Government website. I will make a formal response to the review recommendations later in the autumn.
Printed copies will shortly be distributed to all AMs, local authorities and museums.
This statement is being issued during recess in order to keep members informed. Should members wish me to make a further statement or to answer questions on this when the Assembly returns I would be happy to do so.
