I wish to inform Members that two consultation documents, seeking views on two different aspects of the policy being made under Part 1 of the Housing (Wales) Act 2014 have been published today on the Welsh Government website.
My objective is to collate the views of those who will be affected by the new legislation. I am keen to hear the views of stakeholders and will consider these carefully when drafting the final documents.
The Consultation on a Private Rented Sector Code of Practice for Landlords and Agents will run for 8 weeks from 27 March to 22 May 2015.
The Consultation on the Regulation of Private Rented Housing (Information, Periods and Fees for Registration and Licensing) (Wales) Regulations 2015 will run for 6 weeks from 27 March to 7 May 2015.
