As a result of the resignation of Leighton Andrews I have today made changes to my Ministerial team.

Huw Lewis, currently Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty, is the new Minister for Education and Skills.  Jeff Cuthbert, currently Deputy Minister for Skills and Technology, will take over from Huw Lewis as Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty.

I have also made two Deputy Minister appointments - Ken Skates will take over as Deputy Minister for Skills and Technology and Vaughan Gething will take up a new post as Deputy Minister for Tackling Poverty with overall responsibility for delivering the Tackling Poverty Action Plan.

I will assume responsibility for Welsh Language Policy.

All other Ministerial posts remain unchanged.

A revised Ministerial Responsibilities document will be published as soon as possible.
