Today I am publishing A Healthier Wales: our plan for health and social care. This meets the commitment in ‘Prosperity for All’ to respond to the Parliamentary Review of Health and Social Care with a long term plan.
The Plan sets out a long term future vision of a ‘whole system approach to health and social care’, which is focused on health and wellbeing, and on preventing illness. The Plan sets out a number of purposeful actions to take us toward that vision, and describes how we will move at pace to ensure our services are fit for the future.
I will make an oral statement about the Plan in the Senedd on Tuesday 12 June.
