Jane Hutt MS, Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Trefnydd and Chief Whip
Tackling poverty continues to be a priority for the Welsh Government and I am pleased to announce that today I have made another £1,495,000 available to support organisations to form and improve collaborative working arrangements to address child poverty during the next financial year.
As part of our work to enhance partnership working to deliver positive change for children, young people and their families, I am announcing that we have opened the grant funding round for the Child Poverty Innovation and Supporting Communities Grant for 2025/26.
This builds on the funding provided in 2024/25 where 22 projects were funded to strengthen the capacity of organisations to form collaborative working arrangements to address child poverty and improve communication and knowledge transfer.
