The World Health Organization has now declared the coronavirus outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). The UK has also confirmed its first cases of novel coronavirus – something UK Health Ministers, Chief Medical Officers, public health agencies and the NHS have been preparing for.

I have received the following latest advice from the Chief Medical Officer for Wales:
