Today I am launching a Consultation on protecting our community assets. The consultation presents three options on which I am seeking further views, including the potential development of a specific Welsh model. The consultation will run until 11 September 2015. I will report back to Assembly Members on the findings from the consultation and next steps in Autumn 2015.
The consultation links with current work taking place on Community Asset Transfer across the Welsh Government, including the National Asset Working Group (NAWG) and overarching guidance launched by the Minister for Finance and Government Business, as well as a sector specific toolkit launched by the Deputy Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism.
