Welsh Government remains strongly committed to keeping people safe in their homes and has made a clear commitment to delivering reforms to protect people living in high rise buildings in Wales.
It is our intention to publish a White Paper within this Senedd Term. In advance of its publication we have set out the progress made and Welsh Government’s vision for the full range of reforms required to make the necessary improvements on fire and building safety.
The Building Safety Position Statement also sets out the high-level issues on which we will consult through a White Paper.
