As a government we remain firmly committed to providing services and support that meet the needs of our Armed Forces community. Over the last few years we have made good progress in providing Service personnel, veterans and their families with services that have helped them settle into our communities, and adjust to civilian life.

The Armed Forces Expert Group has been an integral part in ensuring we deliver services and support for those who need our help. Working collectively it has been a platform and voice in identifying issues, and targeting support to help alleviate those issues.

In April 2018 the then Cabinet Secretary gave an undertaking to provide an Annual Report to the National Assembly for Wales on progress made in delivering our commitments to this community.

The first Armed Forces Covenant Annual Report has been developed over the winter months in partnership with the Armed Forces Expert Group. This report highlights the progress we have made, and provides the basis on which to continue the good work and to build on the progress we have made to ensure the Armed Forces community receives the services and support they deserve.
