The report sets out the findings from a series of deliberative workshops held with farmers in March 2023 to discuss the future of tree planting in Wales.
This report summarises:
- what farmers thought their roles would be in 2050 and the perceived opportunities and challenges
- what would be the main drivers for farmers to plant trees or not to plant trees
- what farmers need as support to encourage and enable them to plant trees.
