We are seeking your views on guidance to prosecutors on the principles to be applied when making decisions about Welsh Government prosecutions.
Consultation description
Currently the decision as to whether a Welsh Government prosecution should be started or discontinued is made in accordance with the CPS Code for Crown Prosecutors (the CPS code).
We are consulting on the proposed Welsh Government Prosecution Code which is based on the existing CPS code. However, the code specifically takes Welsh Government prosecution functions into account.
