The Holyhead office is a specialised site and is situated within Stena port. It is currently by appointment only and in relation to Marine and Fisheries. It can be accessed by vehicle only and further instructions will be provided when an appointment has been booked.

The nearest train station to Caernarfon is at Bangor which is approximately 9 miles away. A bus connection from the station bus stop is required to get to Caernarfon. For bus and train timetables visit Traveline Cymru.

There are 2 cycle paths that pass close to the Caernarfon office. You can find information on these cycling routes on the Sustrans website. There is a bike rack near the office where bikes can be stored during the day.

There is a bus stop on site and the Bus Number 24 service between Llandudno Junction Railway Station and Colwyn Bay Railway Station stops here throughout the day. Additional bus services stop on Narrow Lane and Conwy Road which are less than 5 minutes’ walk from the office and service a wide range of destinations.

Trains to and from Cardiff, London and Manchester provide services at Llandudno Junction Railway Station which is about 15 minutes’ walk from the office.

The nearest train station is Pye Corner, which is a 30 minute walk from the office. You can get to this station on the Cardiff Central to Ebbw Vale line. There are no connecting buses from Pye Corner, but the X15 bus runs from Forge Lane enroute to the office.

Cyclists can reach the office by travelling along the A48 road from Newport or Cardiff. Cyclists are prohibited from travelling along Forge lane. There is the bike rack outside the office where bikes can be stored during the day.

The nearest train station to Bedwas is Caerphilly town. Stagecoach South Wales bus route A goes from the train station to Bedwas Road.

The Cardiff Bus no.6 Baycar stops at both Pierhead Street and outside the Wales Millennium Centre adjacent to the Senedd. Cardiff Bus no. 7 and no. 8 stop on Pierhead Street, a short walk (approximately 200 metres) from Tŷ Hywel. Visit the Cardiff Bus website to plan your journey.

Services run from Cardiff Queen Street Station to Cardiff Bay Station. The station is a few minutes’ walk from Tŷ Hywel.
