The Welsh Government has launched a community survey into the impact of the restrictions imposed by Covid-19 on volunteering through the medium of Welsh and use of the Welsh language.
To gather information from as many groups as possible all groups, organisations and clubs that promote the Welsh language or provide opportunities for people to use Welsh locally, are being asked to complete the online questionnaire, which is being launched today.
The questionnaire is designed to gather an up-to-date picture of the opportunities that exist to use Welsh within the community. With the help of the Mentrau Iaith, the questionnaire will be distributed by e-mail to community groups operating in their areas, and the local Mentrau Iaith will encourage and help them to complete the questionnaire.
Eluned Morgan, Minister for the Welsh Language, said:
The questionnaire will be live from 14 September to 2 October 2020.
