Following an external recruitment process, John Coyne, has been appointed as our new Director of Commercial Procurement.
He started on 6 September reporting to Andrew Slade (Director General – Economy, Skills & Natural Resources).
John has huge experience in both the private and public sector. He was most recently the Managing Director at SWFT Clinical Services Limited. He began his career in the Irish tourism sector and became the first ever Commercial Director at Liverpool FC. Since then, John has worked extensively in the health sector and worked in the Welsh public sector with Sports Wales.
Marcella Maxwell, who has been our interim Deputy Director, steps down on 10 September after over 18 months in the role. We would like to thank Marcella for her support in this interim period.
