How to register an account and set up your Organisation on WEFO Online.

Register for a Government Gateway account by enrolling your organisation on WEFO Online

Go to sign in to WEFO Online:

  • select Create sign in details
  • enter your Email address and select Continue Sign in
  • enter the Confirmation code sent to your email address and select Confirm
  • Email address confirmed, select Continue
  • enter your full name and select Continue
  • enter a Password, then enter again in Confirm your password and select Continue
  • to set up recovery details select Continue
  • enter a Recovery word and select Continue
  • make a note of your Government Gateway user ID and select Continue
  • to set up additional security select Continue
     

Chose an option what additional security preference you wish to set up and how you want to get your access code

  • select Text message, Voice call or Authentication app for smartphone or tablet and select Continue

If you choose Text message option:

  • select Yes and select Continue
  • enter UK mobile phone number and select Send access code
  • enter the Access code shown on the text message and select Continue
  • you’ve set up additional security, select Continue   

If you choose Voice call option:

  • enter valid UK phone number and select Call me
  • enter the Access code from the voice call and select Continue
  • you’ve set up additional security, select Continue   

If you choose Authentication app for smartphone or tablet option:

  • you need an authentication app on your device, select Continue
  • set up an authentication app, select Continue
  • enter the Access code shown on the Authenticator app and select Continue
  • enter App name and select Continue
  • you’ve set up additional security, select Continue
     
  • enter the Business Party ID, Postcode and Activation code sent to you on the enrolment letter and select Submit

select Return to WEFO home page
