Priced at £10 for adults, £7 for children or £25 for a family, the new TravelCymru ticket provides affordable public transport on any bus in their long distance, pan Wales network.

Ken Skates said:

“The new TrawsCymru Day Ticket is an exciting opportunity to encourage people across Wales to enjoy this fantastic public transport service and travel Wales.

“The ticket represents a significant saving for those looking to make long distance journeys and, hopefully, facilitate more hop on hop off travel across Wales too – boosting tourism and local economies in the process.

“With the 2016’s Year of Adventure celebrations already well underway, this ticket provides yet another excuse to get out, enjoy Wales and find your epic.”

The Welsh Government funded TrawsCymru services carried over 2 million passengers last year. The majority of the buses are fitted with coach style features including comfortable seating, free WiFi and luggage space. The Day Ticket allows unlimited travel on T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T9 services and on the X85 service between Newtown and Machynlleth.
