We want your views on proposals to amend school term dates. So that terms are more equal in length, with more evenly distributed breaks, for maintained schools in Wales.

Consultation description

We are consulting on 3 matters:

  • The principle of modifying the school year
  • Options for implementing changes to the school year including being made in the 2025 to 2026 school year
  • Suggested term dates for 2025 to 2026 school year
