Molly Fenton – Love your Period campaign

Molly Fenton is an 18 year old A-Level pupil from Cardiff who founded the’ Love Your Period Campaign’ to end period poverty and stigma for school pupils all over Wales. During a period of time off school due to ill health, Molly became inspired by period poverty campaigner Amika George to start a similar campaign in Wales. On her return to school she gained support from her head teacher and senior team for her campaign set up a club at school, given talks to various year groups and her social media campaign has more than 4,000 followers from all over the world. She regulary speaks at events across the UK and now works with her local Rotary club, Cardiff Council and the Welsh Government on period poverty initiatives as well as campaigning against plastic period products. Molly also donated products to NHS workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
