During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Administrative Data Research Unit has undertaken a number of data linking projects. One of these projects involved linking the Shielded Patient List with administrative data to estimate the number of shielded households and the number of people living with a shielded person.
This has also enabled analysis of the type and size of households that contained someone who was asked to shield during the coronavirus pandemic.
