The Wales Science and Innovation Advisory Council (WSIAC) reports to the Chief Scientific Adviser for Wales (CSAW).

It gives independent advice to the CSAW on science, business and innovation policy. It has no statutory or financial responsibilities. Membership includes distinguished academics, industrialists and individuals working in research and innovation.

Professor Peter Halligan and Sir John O’Reilly are co-chairs. WSIAC meets two or three times a year, in different locations. Members are appointed for an initial three year period. We also list former members.
