Original consultation

Seeking your views on amendments to the non-statutory guidance on inclusive education.

Consultation description

In response to the recommendations made in the Children Young People and Education Committee’s Inquiry into attendance and behaviour and the University of Edinburgh’s 'Evaluation of education provision for children and young people educated outside of the school setting', the Minister for Education and Skills made a commitment to revise the Inclusion and Pupil Support guidance.

The consultation on the revised guidance will run until the 11 February.

This is a shorter consultation period as usual as the guidance raises no new policy obligations on schools or local authorities.
