Overview

Recognising and recording progress and achievement (RARPA) is a means of measuring learner progress. It allows practitioners to assess learners on courses not linked to traditional qualifications. It is a useful tool for assessing learners with additional learning needs. They often follow personalised programmes not linked to external qualifications.

RARPA also provides evidence to inform colleges self-evaluation processes.
