Ruth Thackray

Ruth has been described as a pleasure to work with. Colleagues say her drive and passion for collaborative change is incredible and that she spreads inspiration wherever she goes. Staff in schools across the region speak very highly of her ability to put people at ease, instil confidence in them and let them grow.

Ruth recognises that collaboration is essential to improve learning opportunities, at school, consortia and government level and she has been instrumental in new work to ensure GwE (the fully bilingual School Effectiveness and Improvement Service for North Wales) and Pioneer Schools’ staff across Wales receive the right training around change management principles.
