Monkton Priory Community Primary School

In an area of high deprivation, Monkton Priory has provided an environment that is truly inclusive. The school has worked with the community to raise its expectations and aspirations and support parents in developing their skills. Having home support has had a major impact on pupils’ attitudes to education and resulted in a vibrant learning environment.

Monkton Priory is so much more than a school, it has become a community hub. If there is an obstacle, Monkton will overcome it with both optimism and ambition. They believe that education and wellbeing doesn’t just begin when the gates open, it goes beyond to the community.
