On receiving the Special Recognition award Ann said “I’m thrilled to bits because it was totally unexpected. This award is recognition of the efforts that I have tried to put into the education system in Wales over quite a long time.
Awards like these are important because people get their time in the limelight. It shines a light on the good practice and the efforts people make, and gives people a feeling that their hard work has been rewarded.”
