Bethan Howell: Treorchy Comprehensive School, Treorchy
Bethan Howell has created big changes in her school. Her work for diversity and inclusivity has been widely appreciated by pupils, from whom she has taken the steps to create positive change through her “diversity group”. Here, she promotes the acceptance of every pupil.
She devotes large amounts of personal time to the school and her community – organising a book club for pupils and teaching girls’ rugby after school. Bethan is widely appreciated and respected by the pupils she teaches.
