The UK government’s response to the public consultation on the Green Paper on Transforming Public Procurement was published on 6 December 2021.

We have created a document which highlights the main changes between the UK government’s proposals and the consultation response. The document also outlines where this feeds into future stakeholder engagement activities. For more details, visit the Procurement Reform section on Sell2Wales.
We will continue to work closely with the UK government on the development of the Procurement Reform Bill and have been liaising with the Welsh Government’s Social Partnership and Public Procurement Bill team to ensure both Bills are aligned.
We will shortly be engaging with stakeholders to develop a range of appropriate materials to support organisations through this period of change.
