Procurement reform updates.
We recently received an initial draft of the proposed Procurement Bill from the UK government (UKG) for review. We have been working closely with the UKG to develop the bill and our feedback has been taken into account. We will continue to work closely with the UKG to resolve any outstanding issues.
Carl Thomas, from the Procurement Reform Team, and Sue Hurrell, from the Social Partnership and Public Procurement Bill team, recently held a lunch and learn session to update stakeholders of our progress on both of these important bills. The session is available to view on the Business Wales YouTube channel.
We would like to thank those who attended the session. We will be hosting more lunch and learn session as the bills go through the Senedd.
