This revision to national guidance was drafted by leads within Public Health Wales (PHW) and NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership. (NWSSP). It sets out the required actions on subjects including:
- the ‘hierarchy of controls'
- infection prevention and control (IPC)
- environmental modification
- ventilation
This will enable hospitals, healthcare facilities and general medical practices to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection during the autumn and winter period.
