A teacher’s guide to use online safety playlists in the classroom is now available on Hwb.

Playlists provide a way of collating content from a range of web sources into a single resource that can be shared with other users. They can be turned into an assignment to collect quiz scores from users and displayed for the teacher in a markbook.

We have playlists ready to use but this guide will point you in some new directions to help you get the most from the online safety zone including:

  • using playlists to set assignments
  • using playlists as valuable assessment tools
  • promoting peer cooperation and assessment
  • creating quizzes and much more.

Online safety zone playlists offer a reliable, safe and accessible way of organising and sharing resources on Hwb. They are customisable and you can save a copy to edit and use again with a different class.
