How to add additional security preference for WEFO Online.
Adding additional security preference to your WEFO Online account.
Go to sign in to WEFO Online:
- select Sign in
- enter your Government Gateway user ID and Password and select Sign in
- enter the Access code shown on the Authenticator app, Text message or Voice call and select Continue
- select your user name
- select Profile management
- select How you get access codes
- select Add another way of getting access codes
Chose an option what additional security preference you wish to set up and how you want to get your access code. You can set up more than one option.
- select Text message, Voice call or Authenticator app for smartphone or tablet and select Continue
to add a Text message option:
- select Text message and select Continue
- select Yes and select Continue
- enter UK mobile phone number and select Send access code
- enter the Access code shown on the text message and select Continue
- you’ve set up additional security, select Continue
to add a Voice call option:
- select Voice call and select Continue
- enter valid UK phone number and select Call me
- enter the Access code from the voice call and select Continue
- you’ve set up additional security, select Continue
to add an Authenticator app for smartphone or tablet option:
- select Authenticator app for smartphone or tablet and select Continue
- you need an Authenticator app on your device, select Continue
- set up an Authenticator app, select Continue
- enter the Access code shown on the Authenticator app and select Continue
- enter App name and select Continue
- you’ve set up additional security, select Continue
