Torfaen People First set out to review the Gwent ‘Talk About It’ Project.

TPRCs were developed to guide and support people with learning difficulties by enabling them to tell someone they know and trust about incidents of hate crime without having to “gather the courage” to do so.

The research concluded that TPRCs are an effective means of raising awareness amongst people with a learning disability that it is unacceptable for them to be the victims of disability-related hate crime and enable people with learning disability to pursue more active roles in their everyday lives.
