Marine Online Assessment Tool (MOAT) provides the data to assess progress towards Good Environmental Status (GES).
It was developed by Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (CEFAS). It also received support from:
- Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
- Department of Agriculture Environment and Rural Affairs Northern Ireland
- Scottish Government
- Welsh Government
MOAT:
- provides access to the indicators, which assess our progress towards GES
- makes the science underpinning the assessments available and accessible to all
