The marine historic environment includes the following heritage assets:
- wrecks
- submerged prehistory
- coastal and intertidal archaeology
‘Managing the marine historic environment of Wales’ explains the Welsh Government’s approach to underwater heritage and offers best-practice guidance for its protection and management.
