Main points
- There were 13,843 people on registers of people with learning disabilities, of whom 11,843 (86%) were living in community placements and 2,000 (14%) were in residential establishments.
- There were 66,620 people on registers of people with physical or sensory disabilities. Of these, 39,284 (59%) were registered as having a physical disability only.
