Overall, qualification levels in Wales increased in 2018, continuing the general increase seen over time.
Main points
- An estimated 8% of working age adults in Wales reported having no qualifications compared with 9% in 2017.
- 79% of working age adults in Wales held at least level 2 qualifications compared with 78% in 2017.
- 59% of working age adults in Wales were qualified to the level 3 threshold compared with 58% in 2017.
- The proportion holding Higher Education or equivalent level qualifications (NQF level 4 or above) was 38% the same as in 2017.
