Judith Paget CBE Director General of Health and Social Services/Chief Executive NHS Wales

Her responsibilities include:

• overseeing the delivery and performance of the NHS in Wales
• ensuring an effective NHS planning process is in place
• implementing A Healthier Wales as the long-term plan for health and social care in Wales
• ensuring  progress and collaboration in respect of Prosperity for All and First Minister’s priorities for government
• delivering financially within budget and showing improvement in underlying NHS and system financial performance
• supporting corporate responsibilities and collaborative working across Welsh Government, including support for governance and diversity leadership of Minority Ethnic Support Network
• providing leadership, direction and accountability as the Director General
• representing the group as part of the Executive Committee for the Welsh Government
