The Housing Support Grant aims to prevent homelessness and support people to access and/or maintain a stable and suitable home.

We give funding to local authorities to spend on projects aimed at preventing homelessness and helping people to live in their own home or supported housing.

Projects can include:

  • support to help prevent homelessness
  • support to help people live independently
  • support to help people live in their own home, hostel or sheltered housing

Regional Housing Support Collaborative Groups 

The groups consist of local authorities and partners The groups provide a forum for local authorities to deliver those things which are best done regionally such as regional or specialist services.

There are 6 Groups that cover local authorities:
