Discontinuation notice
This report has been discontinued. Data for domestic tourism from 2021 onwards is reported under the series Domestic GB tourism statistics. This series contains data for both overnight trips and day trips. Data published under the new series is not comparable with data for 2019 and earlier.
Domestic tourism data for 2020 is not available. This is due to a combination of a planned methodological change and disruption to data collection caused by COVID-19 related travel restrictions.
